Telemetry Overview
Real-time remote monitoring of water levels, flow rates and pump controls, reduces field exposure hours and costs. Data delivery is provided across cellular and satellite networks.
Systems can be configured for data collection from multiple sensor types including water levels, temperature, flow rates and pump controls. The user interface is highly customizable including personalized alarm notifications for any of the installed sensors. Automated reporting is also integrated into our telemetry systems.
Remote Monitoring Applications
Our telemetry systems can be customized for our client’s unique projects. Our systems are compatible with most scientific sensors and can record water levels, flow rate, and quality parameters as well as site imagery.
Common remote monitoring applications include:
- Water Wells – flow rate, diversion volume, water level, water temperature and electrical conductivity (EC).
- Reservoirs – flow rate and water level monitoring with interstitial water level maintenance utilising high-level and low-level pump control switches.
- Storm Drain Outfalls – velocity, depth, and flow rate (calculated).
- Dugouts – water level and temperature.
- Water Quality (any water source) – temperature, electrical conductivity (EC), pH, dissolved oxygen, redox potential (ORP), total dissolved solids (TDS), and turbidity.
